HuggyHoundz.com - The First and Original

HuggyHoundz are original cuddly toys, made to look like greyhounds/lurchers/whippets. They come in a variety of styles and materials, including cotton prints, fleece, fun fur, etc. All HuggyHoundz have safety eyes and noses, they are hand washable with care and their stuffing is flame retardant. (Please note, HuggyHoundz made from fun fur are not recommended for infants under 36 months). I always advise that if small children or babies are playing with my HuggyHoundz, then items such as bandana's should be removed as a safety precaution. HuggyHoundz that have bows on their heads, have had the bows stitched down for safety and these do not need to be removed. I am happy to make custom orders, in the colours of your own special real life hound. Please contact me for further details. I am proud that the toys I make are associated with such wonderful people who dedicate their time to helping Greyhounds.

I supply several UK greyhound and lurcher rescue sites with HuggyHoundz for their fundraising events, as well as customers from the UK, Northern Ireland and Eire, France, Belgium, Germany, the USA, Canada and Australia. I am quite often asked to make a HuggyHound as a reminder of a much loved lurcher / greyhound who have passed away.

I do not charge extra postage for delivery to British Islands, Scottish Islands or The Scottish Highlands.
These prices are in accordance with Royal Mail's current pricing as of April 2011 for airmail parcels. Delivery times vary but are typically 7-14 days from date of posting.

HuggyHoundz are approximately 16 inches high and 19 inches long. Huggypuppies are approximately 10 inches long x 12 inches high. These measurements exclude the length of the tail on all HuggyHoundz. Original Huggyhoundz are lovingly made individuals - I don't do 'off the shelf, lots of stock, mass produced, catalogue stock' items therefore at particularly busy periods your huggyhound may take a few days to reach you - don't worry, it will be worth the wait! I am constantly adding to my stock and designs. My latest addition to the Huggyhoundz range are Huggyhound Ny-Nites. These are cuddly comforters for either babies and children, or for puppies and anxious dogs. They have fabric eyes and noses and are typically 8 inches x 10 inches or 10 inches x 12 inches. Ny-Nites can be spritzed with a pheromone product such as DAP to comfort anxious dogs and puppies, or for babies and toddlers a spritz of lavender to aid sleep, or olbas oil to aid breathing during illness make Ny-Nites a cute and very useful bedtime comforter. I am also commencing a range of little felt gift bags featuring greyhound silhouettes – a great alternative to paper gift bags – and bag tags, with a useful keyring feature, ideal for putting your own picture of your beloved pet or alternatively your name and address for luggage when travelling. I often stand at shows such as THE GREAT GREYHOUND GATHERING at Nottingham racecourse in September look out for me in my bright red gazebo!
